The sports world will turn its attention to Churchill Downs this Saturday, May 5th for the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby. “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” is the first leg of the triple crown. The Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes will follow later this summer.
Coverage kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET and the race is set for 6:46 p.m. ET on NBC.
