Michelle Wolf is a stand-up comedian and writer best known for her appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity and her HBO stand-up special Nice Lady. In addition to her television work, Wolf is a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.

Wolf was born on June 21, 1985 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Wolf grew up in Hershey, graduating from Hershey High School in 2003. Following high school, Wolf majored in kinesiology at the College of William & Mary and graduated in 2007. Wolf claims she did not party much in college and worked in the cardiovascular physiology lab where she experimented on rats.

Following college, Wolf was employed at Bear Stearns and JPMorgan Chase, working at the two banks for almost four years. She made her television debut in July 2014 when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers. She went on to re-appear on numerous segments on Late Night, often as her fictional persona, “Grown-Up Annie.” She later held additional positions at the same show, including, most recently, writing supervisor.

In November 2015, Comedy Central released the entirety of Now Hiring, a web series hosted by Wolf, on YouTube. In 2016, Wolf joined The Daily Show with Trevor Noah as a contributor and performed her stand-up show So Brave at the Edinburgh Festival, which was her first time performing outside North America. In 2018, Wolf reached an entirely new level of recognition when she performed at the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner, roasting Trump and all of his scummy constituents.
