Lindsay Arnold Cusick is an American professional Latin and ballroom dancer. She gained fame through the popular TV show Dancing with the Stars, where she currently works as dancer and choreographer. The show might be dancing with the stars, but often the star of the show is Lindsay Arnold. If you take a look at some of her pictures you will quickly realize why. On the upcoming 26th season Arnold is paired with NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Just a slight height difference there.
Arnold was born and raised in Utah and is the oldest of four daughters. She is of Mormon faith and married her high school sweetheart Samuel Cusick in a private Mormon ceremony on June 18, 2015. Her bridesmaids included fellow dancers from Dancing with the Stars, Brittany Cherry, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater and Whitney Carson served as maid of honor. Might as well have just held the ceremony on the set of the show.
Arnold first came onto the scene as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance. On the ninth season, Arnold danced her way into the top eight before getting eliminated. Although Arnold was eliminated, it was clear she had a bright future in the industry receiving high praise from the judges. After the show ended, Arnold went on a 30-city tour before joining Dancing with the Stars.
Arnold became the second youngest pro dancer in Dancing with the Stars history, just behind fellow hottie Julianne Hough. Her first appearance on the show Arnold was partnered with boxer Victor Ortiz, the duo finished eighth. Since then Arnold and her partners have finished third, fourth, third, second, and first. She became the first dancer in the show’s history to finish consecutive seasons fourth, third, second, and first. Arnold’s dancing partners included Alek Skarlatos, Wanya Morris, Calvin Johnson Jr., David Ross, and Jordan Fisher, whom she won the 25th season’s crown.
