The Ultimate Fighting Championship will feature three events in the month of May, with one airing on pay-per-view and two events scheduled for FOX Sports 1. The main card is loaded with notable fighters such as former TUF champion Kelvin Gastelum, who takes on fellow top contender Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, mixed martial arts legends Vitor Belfort and Lyoto Machida going toe-to-toe, and the return of undefeated jiu-jitsu ace Mackenzie Dern.

The UFC continues its international road trip for UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Usman. It marks the first-ever event for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the country of Chile. The event will be held at Movistar Arena in Santiago with the main event between top welterweight contenders Demian Maia and Kamaru Usman. Initially, Usman was supposed to face Santiago Ponzinibbio. However, an injury to Ponzinibbio on April 21 forced the Argentinian to withdraw from the bout. As a result, former title challenger Demian Maia stepped up on short notice to accept the bout.
In the co-main event, former Invicta FC title challenger Alexa Grasso goes up against former TUF winner Tatiana Suarez.

Continuing the theme of UFC debuts in the month of May, the Ultimate Fighting Championship makes the trip to Liverpool for UFC Fight Night 129: Thompson vs. Till which will be the first-ever event at Echo Arena. It’s a perfect opportunity for undefeated prospect Darren Till to get another quality win under his belt in his hometown if he is able to upend former welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson. In Till’s last outing, he scored a big win over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Also featured on the main card is a co-main event scrap between Neil Magny and Gunnar Nelson.
