Miley Cyrus, born November 23, 1992, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. As a teenager, Cyrus rose to fame by starring as the character Miley Stewart on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana in 2006. Hannah Montana ran for four seasons, and afterward, Cyrus embarked on a professional music career.
As a musician, Cyrus has earned five number-one and eleven top-ten albums on the US Billboard 200. Cyrus has released “Meet Miley Cyrus” in 2007, pop rock album “Breakout” in 2008, the EP “The Time of Our Lives” in 2009, the dance-pop Can’t Be Tamed in 2010, the hip-hop-influenced Bangerz in 2013 and the country-pop album “Younger Now” in 2017.
Despite where her career may head from here, Cyrus may always be remembered for her actions from about 2013 to 2014, specifically her performance at the 2013 VMA’s with Robin Thicke, which gave her a wild-child image she may never shake.
In the years since Miley has reeled it in and settled down, but we’ll already remember her for her primetime craziness during 2013. Oh, and for “Wrecking Ball”. “Wrecking Ball” will always be a banger.
