Brittany Williams is the steady girlfriend of likely top ten NFL draft pick Josh Allen, who could go as high as first overall to Cleveland. Williams and Allen have been together for over a year, and will soon be living life as a glamorous NFL couple.
Williams attends Fresno State, where she is a cheerleader and expects to graduate this May. In an Instagram post, Williams stated that she has known Allen for eight years, though they began dating much more recently.
Allen has impressed scouts with his monster arm, well-developed skill-set and prototypical size. He has drawn comparisons to the Eagles’ Carson Wentz what with his small-school pedigree and advanced mobility outside of the pocket. Allen first gained the attention of NFL Draftnicks after a strong sophomore season in 2016 when he threw for 3,203 yards, 28 Touchdowns and 15 Interceptions with an underwhelming University of Wyoming supporting cast. In the aftermath of his 2016 performance, many believed he had a shot to be selected first overall in this year’s draft after his Junior season.
Allen’s 2017 season was disappointing. With a weaker supporting cast than he had in 2016, the Wyoming QB only threw for 1,812 yards, 16 Touchdowns, and 6 Interceptions. He also struggled in his three biggest games of the season against Oregon, Hawaii, and Iowa. However, his struggles have not been enough to dissuade scouts and NFL teams from ranking him high on draft boards. Those in the know remain impressed with his intangibles as well as physical and technical potential.
Brittany Williams will be by Allen’s side on draft night on Thursday in Dallas. Much anticipation abounds as to which city they will be headed.
