Jenny Slate is an American actress and stand-up comedian best known for her role as Mona Lisa Saperstein (Jean Ralphio’s sister) on Parks and Recreation. Slate also received notable attention for her relationship with Captain America himself, Chris Evans.
In addition to her appearances on Parks and Rec, Slate was a cast member on Saturday Night Live during the 2009-10 season and appeared in shows such as House of Lies, Married, Bob’s Burgers, Hello Ladies, Kroll Show, and Girls. Slate has also had voice roles in multiple children’s films such as Zootopia, The Secret Life of Pets, and Despicable Me 3.
In 2017, Slate starred alongside Chris Evans in the film Gifted as Bonnie Stevenson, the teacher of a 7-year-old mathematical genius. In 2018, Slate will star alongside Tom Hardy in Venom, a spin-off of Spider-Man. Also in 2018, she will star in Hotel Artemis alongside Emmy Award-winning actor Sterling K. Brown and Jodie Foster (appearing in her first movie as an actress since 2013).
Needless to say, the gorgeous, talented and hilarious Miss Slate has come quite a long way since Pawnee.
