Richard Gere secretly got married to Alejandra Silva, a gorgeous Spanish woman who is nearly half his age. Spain’s HELLO! magazine reports that Gere and Silva got married in early April 2018 in secret. Furthermore, the Spanish tabloid reports that the couple will be holding a ceremony on May 6 in New York City to celebrate with friends and family. Silva, who began dating the Pretty Woman actor in 2014, is Gere’s third wife. At the time of their marriage, Silva was 35 and Gere was 68.
Before marrying Silva, Richard Gere was hitched to supermodel Cindy Crawford in the early 90’s and model Carey Lowell from 2002 to 2016, with him shares son, 17-year-old Homer Gere. Alejandra was also married prior to Gere, being married to Govind Friedland. The couple shares a five-year-old son named Albert.
Gere was one of the biggest actors in the world in the 80’s and 90’s, appearing in An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), The Cotton Club (1984), Pretty Woman (1990), Primal Fear (1996), and Runaway Bride (1999).
