Bellator 198 Fight Card: Schedule, Date, Time & Must-See Details

Bellator MMA returns to the Chicago area on Saturday, April 28 for Bellator 198: Fedor vs. Mir as the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix resumes. In the main event, mixed martial arts legend Fedor Emelianenko is set to enter the cage against former UFC title holder Frank Mir.

In the first bout of the Grand Prix, Chael Sonnen faced off against Rampage Jackson, with Sonnen earning a unanimous decision victory. The winner of Fedor vs. Mir will face Sonnen in the semifinals.

In the opposite side of the bracket, Matt Mitrione scored a majority decision victory over Roy Nelson and is waiting for his semifinal matchup which will be the winner of Ryan Bader vs. King Mo.

Also appearing on the Bellator 198 main card is a co-main event matchup in the featherweight division between Emmanuel Sanchez vs. UFC vet Sam Sicilia, jiu-jitsu ace Rafael Lovato Jr., Neiman Gracie, and the MMA debut of Conor McGregor’s training partner/jiu-jitsu coach Dillon Danis.
