Celebrities React To Avicii’s Death On Social Media

Popular Swedish DJ Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name, Avicii, has been found dead at the age of 28 in Muscat, Oman, as confirmed by his publicist. Considered a pioneer and icon of the EDM (Electronic Dance Movement), he was best known for his songs, “Le7els”, “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother.” Notably, he passed away just days after he was nominated for a Billboard Music Award. In the wake of his death, fans throughout the world, including some big names, have been offering their condolences online through social media.

People have been sharing their reactions on Twitter

Sam Callahan wrote the following on his Twitter account:

“I am both shocked and horrified at this news… RIP Avicii – What a loss for this world.”

YouTuber Dante D’Angelo also wrote the following on his Twitter account:
