The “Merc with a Mouth” is back for his very own sequel in Deadpool 2.
The final trailer for the movie has arrived, and it’s chock full of the violence, bad language, jokes and meta references that you’ve come to expect in a Deadpool movie. Hope you’ve caught up on your comic book movies cause guess what? If the trailer is any indication, we’re getting plenty of jokes about that.
“Pump the hate brakes, Thanos.” Ah yes, a cute little nod to the fact that Cable (played by Josh Brolin) is also playing the villain of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos. Also, Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) pokes fun at the fact that the DC movie universe, think Batman, is considered to be a very dark, gloomy place to fight crime. Meanwhile, it seems like Marvel has a lot more fun with it, considering the fact that comic book movie audiences include children.
Deadpool 2 has its work cut out for it in terms of ticket sales as it comes out on May 18th, 2018, just a few weeks after the release of Avengers: Infinity War and just a week before Solo: A Star Wars Story. The month of May is gonna be an absolute war at the box office, but with Avengers: Infinity War expected to be one of the highest grossing films of all time, Deadpool 2 certainly has a fierce battle ahead for it.
