Nicki Minaj is making a comeback after quite a long layoff with not just one, but two whole new songs dropping on Thursday, one of which is called “Barbie Tingz,” and we have everything you need to listen to the song right here and now!
What can we expect from ‘Barbie Tingz?’
“Barbie Tingz” will be released alongside another song, “Chun-Li.” Now, Minaj hasn’t had an album released since 2014’s The Pinkprint but she’s appeared on other songs in the interval, such as collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert (“The Way Life Goes”) or Migos’ Quavo on “She for Keeps” from Quality Control’s “Control the Streets Vol. 1” compilation.
In addition, Minaj released two promotional images released for the songs on Twitter; for the “Barbie Tings” artwork, Minaj is seen wearing an opulent ballgown, think Versailles with a little Scarlett O’Hara mixed in, surrounded by four other women, all wearing full-facial masks. It’s probably a play on them being dolls, what with Barbie being in the title and all, but you’ll have to listen to the song to find out.
