Stephanie McMahon is the “Billion Dollar Princess” of the WWE empire. Currently, Ms. McMahon has her hands full as the commissioner of Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately for Steph, there’s a dangerous “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey on the roster, itching to do her harm. This past Monday on Raw, Rousey tried breaking her arm just for the hell of it. But Stephanie is a McMahon and will probably recover stronger than ever, likely seeking revenge.
McMahon is a former WWE Women’s Champion. She wrestled and defeated top female talent, such as Brie Bella and WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Jacqueline. Most recently, she teamed up with her husband Triple H to take on “Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34. Rousey made Stephanie tap out with an armbar submission hold in her WrestleMania debut. The next night, Rousey once again targeted McMahon’s arm, leaving her lying in pain once again.
Besides her role on television, Stephanie is a high-ranking executive within WWE. Presently, this 41-year-old administrator occupies the role of chief brand officer. Her responsibilities include promoting the brand and speaking with investors, advertisers, the media, and business partners.
She first appeared on WWE TV back in early 1999 as Vince McMahon’s innocent daughter. During that time, she was involved in a storyline where she was stalked, kidnapped, and almost forcefully married by The Undertaker. Her next big storyline involved an on-screen relationship with wrestler Test, which evolved into a feud between Test and Stephanie’s brother, Shane McMahon.
Stephanie later developed an on-screen relationship with her future husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque in late 1999. In the storyline, she was drugged and married without her consent to the villainous Triple H. At first, she was horrified to find out about their marriage. But she later came around to her on-screen husband, turning into a villain herself, and betraying her father Vince McMahon on behalf of her new love.
Her on-screen relationship with Triple H eventually morphed into a real-life romance. The two began dating in 2000. They married in real life on October 25, 2003. The couple has went on to bring three daughters into this world.
What’s next for Stephanie McMahon? Probably a one-on-one match against “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.
