Jenna Fischer is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Pam Beesly on the NBC sitcom The Office. For her role as Pam, Fischer which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2007.
Other than The Office, Fischer has appeared in such films as Blades of Glory, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, The Promotion, and Hall Pass. On television, Fischer has also appeared as Rhonda McNeil in the NBC’s comedy-drama series You, Me and the Apocalypse and now stars on the ABC show, Splitting Up Together.
Fischer is also a published author, with her first book, The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide, being was published in November 2017. The book featured an introduction by her The Office co-star Steve Carell. In 2018, Fischer portrayed Heidi Skarlatos in the Clint Eastwood-directed film The 15:17 to Paris.
Fischer is married to screenwriter Lee Kirk. Their first child, a boy named Weston Lee Kirk, was born on September 24, 2011. Fischer gave birth to the couple’s second child, a daughter named Harper Marie Kirk, on May 25, 2014.
