Holly Sonders is a sportscaster that works for Fox Sports, mainly covering golf as well as filling on on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
Sonders, a former golf star at Michigan State University, previously worked for the Golf Channel before moving to Fox Sports.
She was also the center of controversy after her disaster US Open appearance where she seemed largely out of her element.

Sonders faced a hefty dose of criticism after her interview of U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth last month, and she’s taking on a different role for this weekend’s championship. Sonders will host a half-hour post-match show on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday and Sunday, while Shane O’Donoghue conducts the on-course interviews.
Sonders’ career hasn’t necessarily been an under-the-radar one, as she was the focus of an episode of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. During the episode, NFL sideline reporter Laura Okmin accused Fox Sports of benching her for a few games last season in favor of a younger female reporter with no NFL reporting experience who was later allegedly identified as Sonders.
In 2018, she began filling in for Kristine Leahy on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
