Michelle Dockery is 36-year-old English actress and singer best known for her performances on Downton Abbey and Godless. For her role as Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey from 2011 to 2015, Dockery was nominated for three consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe award for Best Actress.
Following her run on the hit period drama Downton Abbey, Dockery began playing the lead role of a drug-addicted, alcoholic, American con artist in the U.S. TNT drama series Good Behavior in 2016. In 2017, Dockery starred in the lead role of Alice Fletcher in the Netflix western-drama series Godless. Also in 2017, Dockery has starred with Bryan Cranston in the stage adaptation of Network, earning rave reviews for her portrayal Faye Dunaway. Dockery has other notable stage credits such as Pillars of the Community in 2005 and Hamlet in 2010.
She has also started to embark on a successful cinema career, as she has appeared in films such as Hanna, Anna Karenina, Non-Stop, and Self/less.
