Michelle Dockery is an English actress and singer best known for her performance as Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey. For her role as Mary Crawley, Dockery was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and three consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Beginning in 2017, Dockery has starred with Bryan Cranston in the stage adaptation of Network, earning rave reviews for her portrayal Faye Dunaway. Dockery has other notable stage credits such as Pillars of the Community in 2005 and Hamlet in 2010.
In 2016, Dockery began playing the lead role of a drug-addicted, alcoholic, American con artist in the U.S. TNT drama series Good Behavior. In 2017, Dockery starred in the lead role of Alice Fletcher in the Netflix western-drama series Godless.
