Vanessa Hudgens is an American actress that first came to prominence for her role in the Disney movie franchise High School Musical.
Hudgens, who turns 30 in 2018, also has a career as a recording artist, releasing two studio albums, “V” in 2006 and “Identified” in 2009. Since releasing studio albums, Hudgens began focusing on her acting career full time.
She has gone on to appear in the films Bandslam (2009), Beastly (2011), Sucker Punch (2011), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012), Spring Breakers (2013), and Machete Kills (2013). Hudgens also has a few Broadway appearances under her belt, playing the title role in the Broadway musical Gigi in 2015, and the role of Rizzo in Grease: Live in 2016.
In 2017, she appeared as the lead role in the NBC DC Comics comedy series Powerless, although the show as canceled after just one season. Also in 2017, Hudgens was the host of the 2017 Billboard Awards.
In 2018, Hudgens will appear in the films Dog Days and Second Act, and in 2019 she will appear in the film Polar.
