Ryan Seacrest is a world-famous television host, radio personality, and producer. He’s most famous for hosting American Idol from 2002 until the series’ conclusion in April 2016. He currently works as a talk show host on Live with Kelly and Ryan, as well as a radio host for the shows American Top 40 and On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest has worked in the entertainment industry for almost three decades. His first gig was for ESPN’s Radical Outdoor Challenge, as the host of their first season in 1993. But ever since Seacrest was a little boy, he’d have a knack for hosting shows in his home. His mother spoke with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about her son’s interest in show-business, saying that “Instead of playing with G.I. Joes or Cowboys and Indians, Ryan would always have a little microphone and do shows in the house.”

He was born on December 24, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia. And he grew up to be one of the most famous and wealthiest talk show hosts in the world. Let’s take a look at how much money Seacrest has stocked away in the bank…

Ryan Seacrest Net Worth as of 2018: $380 Million

Ryan Seacrest’s net worth arrives at an estimated $380 million. In 2017 alone, Seacrest made $58 million, according to Forbes. How did Seacrest make so much money? Well, he’s an executive producer of the insanely-popular reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. His role as host on American Idol also gave Seacrest a ton of cash. In July 2009, he signed a $45 million contract to continue his role as host of American Idol, and then in 2012, he signed a two-year $30 million deal to remain on the show. This guy, Ryan Seacrest, is absolutely flooded with cash. Let’s take a quick look at Seacrest’s road to riches and success…

After dropping out of the University of Georgia, Seacrest shifted his focus towards Hollywood to pursue his show-business aspirations. He landed his first gig as host of ESPN’s Radical Outdoor Challenge in 1993. After the show’s first season was up, Seacrest moved onto hosting three kid’s shows, such as Gladiators 2000 (1994-1996), Wild Animal Games (1995), and Click (1997). In 2001, he hosted a reality TV prank show called Ultimate Revenge.

In 2002, Seacrest was pushed right into the mainstream limelight as the host of American Idol. He remained as host on this program until the series’ demise in April 2016. However, he is scheduled to host the reboot of American Idol on March 11, 2018.

In August 2005, Seacrest became the co-host and executive producer of ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He has remained as a prominent fixture of that show, even after Dick Clark’s death in 2012.

This world-famous reality show host got another huge taste of success as executive producer of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007. This show has proved to be mega-successful when it comes to ratings and viewership.

Perhaps, the only failure of Ryan Seacrest’s career is when he hosted Knock Knock Live on FOX for two episodes in 2015. Ratings were so bad that the show was cancelled after only two episodes.

On May 1, 2017, Seacrest was announced as Kelly Ripa’s permanent co-host on the morning talk show, which is now titled: Live With Kelly & Ryan.

On November 17, 2017, Seacrest was accused of sexual harassment by his former stylist Suzie Hardy. She claims that Seacrest “grabbed her crotch” multiple times and “rubbed his erect penis against her.” Seacrest firmly denies these allegations. On February 1, 2018, the Associated Press reported that the investigation had ended and there was insufficient evidence against Seacrest.

Seacrest is scheduled to co-host the After Oscar Show with Kelly Ripa.
