So there I was, just minding my own business, scrolling through the explore page on Instagram.
I’m a big #SoccerGuy, so naturally, there was a lot of soccer content on the feed. But then, amongst the hundreds of highlight videos and trick shots, stood out this photo:
This is Morgan Reid, a former standout Duke athlete, and professional soccer player.
Reid is a professional women’s soccer player taken with the eighth pick in the fourth round in the 2018 NWSL College Draft by the North Carolina Courage.
During her senior year in 2017, Reid started in all 26 games as the Blue Devils made a run to their fourth NCAA College Cup in school history.
Born on June 13, 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio, Reid has three brothers, Justin, Jake, and Jason, along with one sister, Madison. While at Duke University, Reid majored in evolutionary anthropology.
Think its safe to say I found my new favorite soccer player.
