Pickerington High School North Lockdown: Full Story & Must-See Updates

Pickerington High School North was placed on lockdown this morning, according to Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office.

The school district posted to Twitter to provide an update, saying that Pickerington High School North was placed on a precautionary lockdown this morning while authorities investigated a “rumor.”

At this time, all students and staff are safe, and the rumor was determined to be inaccurate. The Fairfield County sheriffs office was on the scene assisting with the investigation.

Thie situation appears to be resolved at this time. No other details were released.

Pickerington High School North is a public high school in Pickerington, Ohio. It is one of two high schools in Pickerington Local School District, the other school being Pickerington High School Central.

Pickerington High School North is the newest high school built in the PLSD. The Lakeview Junior High and PHSN are both on the same campus (located at the corner of Refugee Road, Pickerington Road, and Ault Road.). Pickerington Lakeview is 7th and 8th grade. The school employs approximately 158 staff members. The school has sports programs that include football, boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling, boys tennis, girls tennis, boys soccer, girls soccer, boys golf, girls golf, cross country, cheerleading, track and field, baseball, softball, and Marching Band.
