With just a month until March Madness commences, elite and fringe tournament programs alike will look to strengthen their resumes during the final month of the regular season. Although seeding in the postseason does not necessarily guarantee success, it does go a long way in alleviating some of the pressure of having to face top-tier programs early on in the tournament. While the likes of Duke, Kansas, Villanova, and Virginia can be confidently considered top seeds come March, there are still a plethora of programs that have the potential to be giant killers. This is the time of year where the unknown competitors slowly but surely start to emerge in various bracketology projections, which is something to keep an eye on without taking completely seriously just yet. For anyone that submits a bracket every year, it is imperative that those who intend to win do their due diligence by scouting some of the dark horse programs now.
