Mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou is one of the premier fighters in the heavyweight division for the UFC. The “Predator” is a force to be reckoned with in the octagon boasting the ability to annihilate opponents with vicious strikes on either hand. Ngannou’s 6’4 259lb frame is a mammoth and will prey on his opponents with his physical gifts. The Cameroon native has a record of 11-1 (7 KO’s, 4 submissions).

Francis Ngannou’s Net Worth as of 2018: $250,000

As it stands, Francis Ngannou made $90,000 his last fight. Considering he does well in his forthcoming bout against Stipe Miocic, The “Predator” salary should increase immensely once he is declared the new champion. With Ngannou ability, he has what it takes to be a serious threat to the throne. In his prime with a remarkable skill set puts other fighters on notice and can very well be a champion for the first time in his career.

Early Life

Francis Ngannou was born in the village of Batié, Cameroon. During his younger years, he lived in an area where poverty is at an all-time high and school was hardly acknowledged. At the age of 12, Ngannou worked a job doing sand quarry to keep afloat. An average person makes $1,300 a year in Batié. Instead of joining gangs in his village, Ngannou opted to follow his father’s footsteps as a fighter and pursue a career in boxing. After suffering from an illness not being able to fight, Francis worked different types of jobs just to keep the lights on until he was 26 years old where he emigrated to Paris, France. With no money, Ngannou overcame the odds and did what it took to pursue his lifelong dream. He is a huge Mike Tyson fan and wanted to emulate the moves he did. Instead of boxing, Fernand Lopez Owonyebe, trainer, steered him in the direction of MMA as a better fit. Proved to be the right decision as Ngannou is dominating his adversaries.

The Predator started his MMA career in France and fought in other locations in Europe. Ngannou then signed on with the UFC on December 19, 2015. In his first 10 matches, he was an unbeatable warrior. Demolishing fighters with his knockout ability and his submission technique. Pound for pound a fearless striker. Ngannou proved his worth with a win against Alistair Overeem on December 2, 2017, in the first round with a knockout. That was the biggest fight of his career. Now he’ll have a chance to one-up that performance and compete for the Heavyweight title. If the defending champion Miocic gets hit on a two-punch combo form Ngannou we’ll almost certainly have a new champion on our hands.
