Liza Koshy is a 21-year-old actress who achieved widespread recognition as a YouTube and Instagram personality. Koshy, who was born and raised in Houston, is half Indian and half Caucasian descent.
Koshy stars as Violet Adams in the Hulu series Freakish, a spinoff of the ABC comedy Blackish. Furthermore, Koshy has played Aday Walker in Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween and a character called “The Explorer” in the YouTube Red series Escape the Night. Koshy also co-hosts the MTV reboot of TRL.
Koshy’s YouTube channel currently has more than 13 million subscribers and 1.4 billion views, making it the 74th most subscribed channel on YouTube. Loshy began posting videos to Vine in 2013 under the pseudonym “Lizzza”. When Vine was shut down in 2017, Koshy had over 5 million followers on the platform in addition to her massive YouTube following. On YouTube, Koshy became the fastest YouTube personality to reach 10 million subscribers. Currently, her videos average about 10 million views.
