Central High School Stabbing: Full Story & Must-See Details Of Student Attack

Police are responding to reports of an assault with a knife Thursday morning at Central High School in Prince George’s County, Maryland. As many as 3 students at the school have been cut or stabbed, according to sources.

Reports indicate that at least one of the Central High Victims has a superficial wound, while another has cut to the abdomen, with a total of 3 students being treated. All three injuries are non-life threatening.

The suspect is believed to be in custody and authorities are currently on the scene. Detectives are on the scene working to establish specific circumstances leading up to altercation.

Central High School is a public magnet high school, located in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The school is part of the Prince George’s County Public Schools system. The school hosts the county’s only high school-level French Immersion magnet program, as well as an International Baccalaureate (IB) magnet program. The school also has AVID. The principal is Ms. Keishia Wallace.

The approximate enrollment, as of March 2017, it is 985 students in grades nine through twelve. The school hours are from 7:25am to 2:25pm. The school operates on an alternating A/B-Day Block Schedule. Central has a mandatory uniform policy in effect.
