Seth Meyers, 44, is an American comedian, political commentator, and television host. He also is best known for his talk show, Late Night With Seth Meyers, which airs on NBC.
Prior to hosting his own show, Meyers was a head writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live. He also hosted the show’s news parody segment, Weekend Update.
Meyers hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014, after appearing in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Meyers is known for his political opinions and seems to enjoy calling out certain political leaders.
He will be hosting the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 7, 2018.

Meyers attended Northwestern University where he was a member of the school’s improv group, Mee-Ow. After college, he began working with the traveling group called Boom Chicago.

In 2009 he won the Writers Guild of America Award. After many nominations, Meyers locked down the award in the category of Comedy/Variety (including talk) series for SNL.
Meyers also won the third season of Celebrity Poker Showdown in 2009. Celebrity Poker Showdown is a celebrity game show that ran on Bravo. The show left Meyers with $1,000,000, which he donated to the Boston-based Jimmy Fund.

In 2011, Meyers won an Emmy for Oustanding Original Music and Lyrics for Saturday Night Live.
Meyers and Ashe announced their engagement in July 2013 and got married on Sept. 1 of the same year.
In November 2015, the couple confirmed that they were expecting their first child.
2016-Present
Meyers and his wife welcomed their son, Ashe Olson, on March 27, 2016. After a two week early delivery and a scary delivery, their baby was completely healthy.
On the Late Night with Seth Meyers Thanksgiving special in 2017, Meyers announced that him and his wife were expecting baby number 2.
On Jan. 4, Meyers will be hosting the 2018 Golden Globes.
