For all of Fox News’ faults, there’s one aspect in which they always dominate: finding the hottest on-air talent.
You’ve got Kat Timpf, you’ve seen Kimberly Guilfoyle, and now I introduce you to Carley Shimkus. Shimkus, who majored in journalism at Quinnipiac University, joined Fox News in 2009, eventually becoming an associate producer in 2012. Shimkus was also part of a select group of students chosen to attend George Washington University Semester in Washington Journalism Program in 2008.
After joining FOX in 2009, Carley became the Associate Producer at Fox Business Network in December 2012. In addition to her role as producer, Shimkus makes the occasional on-screen appearance, as well.
At Fox, Shimkus is responsible for producing the daily guest segments & managing the rundown of the shows. She is also associated with producing two hours of the weekend programme “Best of Imus” a popular morning radio show that involves satirical take on current news and events every week.
We can see why Fox News wants her on screen as much as possible.
