The University of Georgia Bulldogs and the University of Oklahoma Sooners played in a Rose Bowl for the ages on New Year’s Day, scoring a total of 102 points on the way to a 2OT Georgia Bulldogs victory.
One of the biggest stories of the game was Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, who was starting in the Rose Bowl as a true freshman. At just 19-years-old, Fromm’s composure under center helped lead the Bulldogs to the National Championship game, which they haven’t won since 1980.
But while Fromm’s play on the field may have been the highlight of the night for fans, our highlight was seeing his mom in the stands and noticing she’s quite the dime.
It’s been a long time since there’s been a dominant force in the hot mom in college sports category. Enter Lee Fromm, who is Georgia QB Jake Fromm’s mom. It’s become a rarity to post about hot moms in college football. I don’t know why, it just hasn’t happened much these days. Those of you who’ve been around over the years know that AJ McCarron’s mom used to dominate the conversation around here.
Lee Fromm might’ve just taken over the title in 2018. Let’s cut to the chase here. Lee Fromm is an ESPN crowd shot away from huge stardom. All the intangibles are there. And she was a big time basketball, track and softball star from athlete, according to a 2016 report from the Macon Telegraph.
Given both Georgia and Alabama are SEC teams, it may be difficult for the casual fan to choose a team to root for. If that’s the case, just root for Georgia and use Lee Fromm as your excuse.
