Black Mirror is a British science fiction anthology series created by Charlie Booker. The show focuses on dark themes that examine modern society and the consequences of new technology. Usually the episodes are set in an alternative present or near future and are standalone works.
The show originally premiered in Dec. 2011 on the British Channel 4. It was inspired by shows like The Twilight Zone, which was able to focus on controversial topics without the need to censor. The show was developed with hopes to portray humanity’s dependence on technology and providing “what-if” scenarios.
After being added to Netflix, the show has seen increased interest. It’s coming back to Netflix for it’s fourth season on December 29 and fans everywhere are impatiently waiting.

These directors are said to help elevate the shows new season with strong production and an incredible attention to detail, making the show feel more credible.
