Gucci Mane, born as Radric Delantic Davis, is a very well-known American rapper. In 2007, Mane founded 1017 Records, an American record label that’s been home to many hip hop artists such as Waka Flocka Flame, Chief Keef and Young Thug.
Mane debuted his first album Trap House, in 2005, followed by his second and third albums shortly after in 2006. He’s also released dozens of mixtapes and collaborations with other artists. His hit single Black Beatles, a collaboration with Rae Sremmurd, was his first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. Manes sixth studio album, The State vs. Radric Davis, went on to become his first gold certified album after its release in 2009.
After spending time in prison between 2014 and 2016, Mane emerged with many new projects that all received critical praise.
Gucci Mane announced his newest project, El Gato the Human Glacier, towards the end of October. This album is believed to be short on collaborations, seeing as the only one Mane mentiond was 21 Savage. The new album will drop on Dec. 22, and will have 13 songs on it.
The cover art for El Gato the Human Glacier features a glacier with Gucci Manes face on the top of it, which explains a little bit about the album title. The new album was produced by Southside.
Using a thread of tweets, Mane released the tracklist to his new album on Dec. 12.
