WWE Clash of Champions will feature the very best superstars of SmackDown Live battling it out under the bright lights of the TD Garden in Boston, Massacheuts. “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal is looking to reclaim the WWE Championship in the main event against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are just to hold onto their jobs. They’ll be facing off against the likes of “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Artist” Shinsuke Nakamura. Can KO and Zayn make it out of Boston with their jobs intact?
The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos are set to defend their titles in a fatal four-way against three of the blue brand’s top teams. The wardens of the Uso penitentiary will have to fend off ya boys The New Day, the odd couple a.k.a. Rusev & Aiden English, and the All-American tandem Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin. Can The Usos escape this four-way prison with their titles in tow?
Meanwhile, “The Queen” Charlotte Flair will be surrounded on all sides as if she were in a prison. She’ll be forced to square off against “The Queen of Black Hearts” Natalya with the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line. And by the way, the ring is completely surrounded by members of SmackDown‘s female division. These ladies will likely go crazy in the TD Garden.
The Bludgeon Brothers have acted as a wrecking crew lately on SmackDown Live. Tonight, they might be under arrest when they go up against “The Fashion Police” Breezango. Or…they may just bludgeon another victim and move up the ranks of the SmackDown tag team division.
“The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin may be in the fight of his life tonight against Dolph Ziggler and “Glorious” Bobby Roode. Can Corbin make it out of TD Garden with the WWE United States Championship? Or will The Lone Wolf fall prey to a Zig Zag or something glorious?

Kickoff Show: Mojo Rawley vs. Zack Ryder
Mojo Rawley was an absolute beast in this match. Zack Ryder tried his best, but he wasn’t good enough for Rawley. The Hype Bros are officially dead. Rawley sends Ryder crashing into the barricade. In the ring, Ryder mounts a comeback. But Rawley quickly regains controls and knocks Ryder senseless with a running forearm to the face in the corner of the ring.

Triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship: Baron Corbin (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler
Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler take out Baron Corbin, tossing him over the barricade. Ziggler and Roode fight it out in the ring. They don’t see “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin who fires back, gains control, taking out both men. He wears Roode down in the ring and then rams Ziggler’s spine into the barricade outside the ring.
When Corbin reenters the ring, Roode fights back with stiff shots. The crowd chants “Wooo!” Roode runs the ropes but gets caught in a thunderous side-slam from Corbin who goes for the pin. 1…2…Ziggler breaks up the pin.
Corbin makes Ziggler pay for breaking up that pin and stomps him out in the corner. Corbin turns his attention to Bobby Roode who fights back hard. Roode has Corbin shaken. Roode is in control, taking down Corbin with a clothesline and then a Blockbuster from the top rope.
Then outta nowhere, Ziggler jumps on Bobby Roode’s back. Roode fires back with a clothesline, but Ziggler returns to his feet quickly. Roode and Ziggler tangle. Roode ascends the top rope but fails. Ziggler hits a Zig-Zag and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!
Baron Corbin has returned and he’s putting the punishment on Roode and Ziggler. Roode hits Corbin with an elbow and then takes out Ziggler. Corbin hits a Deep Six on Roode and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!
Ziggler is about to take out Roode on the top rope, but Corbin turns the move into a power-bomb, suplex combo. Corbin pins Ziggler. 1…2…kick out! The crowd chants, “This is awesome!”
Corbin tries to attack Ziggler but gets sent out of the ring. Ziggler attempts a super-kick on Bobby Roode, but the move is turned into a spine-buster. Roode plays to the crowd and attempts the Glorious DDT. But Ziggler counters the move into a DDT of his own. Corbin returns to the ring to pick up the pieces but is sent out of the ring by his own momentum.
Roode takes out Ziggler with a Glorious DDT. But before Roode can get the 3 count, Corbin pulls him out of the ring. Corbin assaults Roode and attempts to take out Roode with an End of Days. Then outta nowhere, Ziggler hits a Zig-Zag on Corbin for the win.

Fatal 4-way match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable vs. Rusev & Aiden English
This match is very fast-paced, all-over-the-place. Kofi Kingston of The New Day capitalizes on his high-flying ability to put the punishment on his opponent. Big E uses Kingston as a weapon, as Kofi drop-kicks Uso’s head into the corner. But Kingston couldn’t stop Rusev’s big kick. The crowd goes crazy, chanting “Rusev Day!”
Benjamin and English slow down the pace with submission-holds on The New Day. Gable and Benjamin double-team their opponent. Kingston takes out Gable with a big-time kick.
Aiden English is pissed off in the ring, so he doesn’t see Kofi Kingston fly from the top rope and take him out. Chaos erupts in the ring. Big E takes out Gable, while Uso takes out English with a Samoan Drop. Uso splashes Gable in the corner and Big E splashes Gable. Both go for the cover. 1..2..both kick out.
Big E and Uso argue. But The Usos go crazy with superkicks to everyone except Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin who turn the tide. Gable catches Uso in a Texas Cloverleaf. Benjamin catches Kingston from the top rope and powerbombs him. Aiden pulls Benjamin out of the ring. Rusev is about to take out Chad Gable with an Accolade. But Big E breaks up the move. Rusev tries to roll up Big E, but he isn’t able to put away the big man. Rusev fires back with a Matchka Kick. Big E kicks out. Rusev locks Big E into the Accolade. But Chad Gables comes from behind and hits Rusev with a suplex. Gables hits Aiden English with a suplex. He tries to hit an Uso with a superplex, but gets super-kicked.
Gable is finished off with an Uso Splash.
The Usos retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship after defeating Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin, Rusev & Aiden English, and The New Day
Lumberjack match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Natalya
Charlotte and Natalya look up. Nattie takes down “The Queen” Charlotte, but falls out of the ring at Naomi’s feet. Noami starts kicking Natalya and throws her back into the ring. Charlotte capitalizes on a hurt Natalya but is soon thrown outside the ring as well. All the villainous women at ringside attack Charlotte; a mob of superstars maul Flair.
Natalya keeps throwing Charlotte out of the ring. Six lumberjacks attack Charlotte all at once. Natalya takes advantage of a shaken Charlotte and traps her in a head-lock.
Charlotte regains control, but the fight spills outside the ring and into true chaos. Everyone is fighting at ringside until Naomi springboards off the top rope and takes out everyone.
The fight returns to the ring. Tamina kicks Charlotte in the head from the outside. Natalya capitalizes by locking Charlotte in a Sharpshooter. Charlotte is able to reach the ropes but is pulled out of the ring. Chaos ensues once again.
Carmella tries to cash in her Money In The Bank briefcase, but is taken out by The Riot Squad. The fight continues outside the ring. Charlotte takes out everyone with a moonsault from the top rope.
Natalya brings Charlotte back into the ring and attempts to lock her into the sharpshooter. But Charlotte counters with a Figure Eight leg lock. Natalya taps out.
Charlotte defeats Natalya to retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Post-Match: Natalya is upset. She says that the WWE Universe and all the women have turned their back on her. So she’s going to “turn (her) back on all of you!” Did Natalya just quit? She’s crying.
Breezango vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
Luke Harper of The Bludgeon Brothers immediately levels Tyler Breeze with a stiff shot to the face. Erick Rowan gets the tag and stalks Fandango outside the ring. Rowan re-enters the ring but eats a kicks from Breeze. Rowan takes a kick from both men at the same time.
Breezango appears to be in control. But Luke Harper quickly turns the tide in favor of The Bludgeon Brothers, laying to waste Breeze outside the ring. The Bludgeon Brothers dissect their opponents. Rowan levels Breeze outside the ring by dropping his face on the ring apron.
The Bludgeon Brothers put away Fandango with a double-team Crucifix Bomb. Fandango has been bludgeoned!

If Owens and Zayn lose, they will be fired from WWE: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan as special guest referees
Randy Orton and Sami Zayn tangle up. Orton maintains control and tags in Shinsuke Nakamura. Zayn takes hold of Nakamura and they begin to chain wrestle. Nakamura turns the tide and puts the pressure on Zayn’s shoulder. Zayn reaches the ropes and the referee breaks up the move. Kevin Owens gets the tag and he starts wailing away on Nakamura in the corner. KO is being too vicious near the ropes, so the referee Shane McMahon breaks up the onslaught. Nakamura turns the tide and beats KO into the corner, but referee Daniel Bryan breaks up the assault.
Orton gets the tag and continues the assault. Orton takes down KO and goes for the cover. KO kicks out. Zayn attacks Orton from the apron. KO capitalizes and levels Orton. KO goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out! KO argues with Shane for not counting fast enough.
Sami Zayn is tagged into the match. Zayn talks trash while chopping Orton in the chest. “You want to take my job, Orton?” asks Sami. Orton turns the tide, but Sami tags in KO.
Owens levels Orton and stomps him out. He tells Bryan that he made a “3 count” before on Orton and then knees “The Viper” Orton in the head. KO tags in Zayn who applies a head-lock on Orton.
“The Viper” fights out, picks up Zayn and drops him midsection first on the ropes. KO gets the tag and levels Orton once more. Owens traps Orton in a head-lock of his own. Orton fights up and out. Orton throws some hard shots, but KO kills his momentum and tags in Sami Zayn.
Zayn maintains control, preventing Orton from tagging in Shinsuke Nakamura. Zayna taps Orton in a head-lock, but Orton fights out and takes out Zayn with a back-body drop. Both Orton and Zayn tag in their partners.
Shinsuke Nakamura is kicking ass! He’s putting the punishment on Kevin Owens. He’s hitting KO with knee-shot after knee-shot, kick after kick. Nakamura is a madman! Nakamura props KO on the top rope and delivers a running-knee to the gut. Nakamura goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!
Owens tries to duck Nakamura but eats a kick. Nakamura fights off both KO and Zayn. KO tries to power-bomb Nakamura from the top rope, but the move is turned around into a triangle choke from Nakamura. Daniel Bryan goes for the counts since Nakamura’s shoulder’s are down. 1…2..kick out!
The referees argue. Meanwhile, Owens regains control with a big super-kick. Zayn gets the tag, takes out Orton on the apron, but runs into Nakamura’s boot. Zayn counters with a Blue Thunderbomb and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!
Zayn tags in Owens who hits a Senton Splash on Nakamura. All men are fighting it out in the ring. Sami Zayn and Randy Orton battle it out. Zayn ascends the top rope, but Orton stops Zayn’s momentum and drops him with an earth-shaking superplex. Owens pulls Orton out of the ring and throws him into the steel steps. Nakamura takes the fight to Owens, beating him into the barricade. Sami Zayn comes to the rescue. Zayn attacks Nakamura. Owens and Zayn remove the equipment from the announcer’s tables. Nakamura is propped up on the table and KO hits a splash through the table. The crowd chants, “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!”
Randy Orton and Sami Zayn return to the ring to battle. Orton drops Zayn with a scoop-slam. Orton drapes Zayn over the top rope and hits a DDT. Orton hits Zayn with an RKO. 1..2…Daniel Bryan breaks up the pin!
Shane and Daniel argue. Randy hits an RKO on Kevin Owens. Zayn rolls up Orton, but Shane won’t make the 3 count. Daniel and Shane look like they’re about to fight. Zayn capitalizes on the conflict, rolls up Orton, and Bryan makes the fast 3 count.

WWE Championship match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal gains the early advantage in this main event match, taking down AJ Styles with brute strength. Styles returns to his feet. Mahal challenges Styles to a “test of strength.” Styles responds by kicking Mahal in the calf. A hurt Mahal exits the ring. Styles follows and takes down the challenger with a big-time calf-kick.
Styles is kicking ass. But Mahal quickly turns the tide and dominates Styles, tossing him midsection first on the ropes. The fight spills outside the ring. Mahal throws Styles over the barricade onto the exposed steel floor. Mahal brings the hurt AJ Styles back into the ring.
Mahal literally kicks Styles out of the ring and then drops him ribs-first onto the broadcaster’s table. Mahal brings the fight back into the ring and continues the punishment. He locks Styles into a legs-scissors submission hold. Mahal is squeezing Styles’ midsection. Styles is able to escape, but Mahal won’t let up. The challenger is completely dominating “The Phenomenal One.”
Mahal ascends the top rope and levels Styles with a chop to the head. Mahal returns to the top rope, but Styles catches him with a drop-kick. The challenger rolls outside the ring and the referee begins the 10 count. The Singh Brothers distract Styles who gets pulled off the apron by Mahal. Styles counters with a kick to Mahal’s gut. The fight returns to the ring. Styles springboards off the top rope, but Mahal pushes his foot which makes Styles crash midsection first on the top rope.
“The Modern Day Maharaja”‘ continues the punishment on Styles. He mounts the champion on the top rope. Styles breaks free and levels the challenger with an Electric Chair Drop.
AJ Styles hits a big-time neck-breaker but isn’t able to put away Mahal. The challenger gains the upper-hand and sends Styles seven feet into the air and then down hard on the canvas. Mahal isn’t able to put away his opponent either. Styles and Mahal exchange big moves. Styles drops Mahal with a Pelee Kick and is about to put him away with a Styles Clash. Mahal fights out, pushing Styles into the corner. Styles attempts a tornado DDT, but fails and eats a kick from Mahal. The challenger goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!
Mahal attempts to hit a Khallus from the top rope. Styles counters with a Pele Kick and knocks Mahal off the top rope. Styles hits a springboard 450 splash. Styles is about to put away Mahal, but The Singh Brothers pull out Styles. Styles hits one Singh Brother with a Styles Clash.
Styles attempts a Phenomenal Forearm, but Mahal rolls out. Mahal hits a running-knee to the back of Styles’ head. Mahal hits a Khallus and goes for the cover. 1…2…kick out!
Mahal attempts a Styles Clash on AJ Styles, but “The Phenomal One” is able to escape. Styles counters with a Calf Crusher. Mahal tries to escape to the bottom rope, but Styles pulls Mahal back to the center of the ring. Mahal taps out.
