Migos are a Southern Hip-Hop trio formed in 2009, by Quavo (born Quavious Keyate Marshall), Takeoff (born Kirshnik Khari Ball), and Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus). All three of them are from Lawerenceville, Georgia. They’re not just group members but they’re also family members. Quavo and Offset’s are cousins and Takeoff is Quavo’s nephew.

2009-2013
Offset, Quavo and Takeoff formed a group under the name Polar Club. In 2010, they changed their group name to Migos. Migos dropped their second mixtape No Label in 2011. By 2014, they had released 10 mixtape’s. In June 2013, the trio drops “Young Rich N*ggas” and Versace and Hannah Montana are immediate hits. Versace reached to Billboards Hot 100 and caught the Drake’s attention. Drake dropped a verse on Versace and added the remix to his album, Nothing Was The Same.
2014-Present
In 2015, the group releases Look At My Dab which led to a dance craze. Everyone from NFL players to Hilary Clinton were dabbing. In 2015 Migos performed as as a duo because Offset was in custody for 8 months, he was released in December 2015.
In 2016, “Bad & Boujee” drops and in January 2017 it hits #1 on Billboards Hot 100. In January 2017, Migos released their second studio album Culture which peaked the #1 spot on Billboard 200. In early December, Migos dropped a track that featured Nicki Minaj and Offset’s finance, Cardi B.
Migos third album “Culture 2” is expected to drop in January 2018.
