The Los Angeles Lakers are set to invade Madison Square Garden tonight to play against the New York Knicks. The Lakers are coming off of two consecutive victories and are hoping to knock off The Knicks and continue their hot streak. Meanwhile, the Knicks are fresh off of a 111-107 victory off of the Atlanta Hawks.
The Knicks are without Carmello Anthony, which is a real bummer. But despite this loss, they’ve still managed to grab the number 8 seed in the Eastern Conference. They also have a 7-foot-3 goliath in their corner in the form of Latvia-native Kristaps Porzingis. This 22-year-old Latvian is an absolute beast, who is posting career highs in almost every category available, such as points per game (25.5), field goal percentage (46), three-point percentage (38.3) and blocks per game (2.0).
