Max Kellerman, the co-host of ESPN’s First Take and boxing commentator for HBO, has made quite the name for himself in the world of sports personalities.

Kellerman appears as the color commentator on HBO World Championship Boxing and HBO Boxing After Dark and was the co-host of an afternoon drive-time sports talk show with Marcellus Wiley.

In 2013, Kellerman, Michelle Beadle, and Wiley began co-hosting the sports comedy talk show SportsNation on ESPN. Beginning in 2016, Kellerman became the co-host of ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim.

1990-2009

After Kellerman graduated from Columbia University with a degree in history and was hired as an analyst on ESPN’s boxing series Friday Night Fights.

In November 2002, Kellerman was given his own show and became the original host of ESPN’s Around the Horn.  Kellerman left ESPN in early 2004 to host a new show called I, Max on Fox Sports Net.

Beginning in 2006, became the co-host of Spike TV’s 2006 series, King of Vegas.

 


2010-Present

On May 12, 2010, it was announced Kellerman had been hired by CNN.

In December 2010, Kellerman was announced as the new host at ESPNLA 710 alongside former NFL player co-host Marcellus Wiley.

On June 24, 2013, Kellerman, Michelle Beadle, and Wiley began co-hosting the sports comedy talk show SportsNation on ESPN.

Beginning on July 25, 2016, Kellerman became the co-host of ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim.
