The only thing more electric than the uniforms is the game itself. Actually i take that back those jerseys are just to sick! The Army Navy rivalry is as old as time itself each branch of the military wanting to be prove their dominance and what better way to decide that then on the gridiron! Navy leads the all time series 60-50-7 and have absolutely dominated in recent years winning 17 of the last 20 meetings including a stretch of 14 straight. The game is played at a neutral site in Philadelphia because at the time of the first game in 1890 the teams needed to find a venue big enough to fit the enormous crowds expected for the game and it didn’t hurt the Philadelphia has a rich American history. The game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Navy is 10-0 when the game has been played here.

That being said Army comes in to this with an 8-3 record and winners of 6 out of their last 7. Despite all the wins Army hasn’t been very impressive this year. Both of their quality wins coming at home against Duke and Temple meanwhile they lost on the road at Ohio St 38-7 and a close 52-49 loss to Conference USA runner up North Texas. Ill give them the pass on the Ohio St loss but they aren’t impressive. That explains why Navy is a 3 point favorite going into this one. Army is lead by Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw, no he doesn’t have ant relation to former giants standout, but he is poised to have a big game against Navy. Army’s offense lives and dies on Bradshaw’s production on the ground. He only has 39 passing attempt with only 12 completions but he does have almost 1500 yards averaging just shy of 8 yards a carry. So yeah its pretty safe to say you stop Bradshaw you stop Army . Its obviously easier said then done, The Black Knights will continue to find creative ways to get Bradshaw in space.
Navy started out red hot winning their first 5 games of the year but have seriously stumbled since losing 5 of their last 6. They loss close contests to Memphis by 3, UCF by 10 and only losing by 7 to Notre Dame in South Bend. Navy is has been playing good football despite the losses. When is Army week the rest of the season goes out the window because those players know if you beat your biggest rival that season is a success. Its not very surprising that Navy’s offense is very similar to Army’s, they are also lead in rushing by their QB, Zach Abey. Abey doesn’t have the same explosiveness as Bradshaw, as he still have over 1300 yards rushing with 800 more through the air. Navy relies mainly on their Defense who has done a great job limiting opponents scoring chances.
