Kurt Angle Opens Up Monday Night Raw

Angle walks out to the ring and begins speaking. He’s excited about tonight’s championship matches, which includes The Shield’s Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins going up against The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. Angle then begins talking about Roman Reigns’ open challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He’s about to name the challenger…

Jason Jordan’s music hits. Jordan demands a championship match against Reigns. He believes he deserves a title shot. Roman Reigns is out next. He doesn’t want to face off against Jordan tonight. He wants Samoa Joe. Jordan doesn’t like this news. Reigns tells him to stop hiding by his daddy (Kurt Angle) and step up.

Samoa Joe’s music hits. He accepts Romans Reigns challenge. He gives Reigns five seconds to withdraw his challenge because Reigns knows that he can’t beat Joe. Jason Jordan interrupts and says that he doesn’t talk tough because “unlike you,” Samoa Joe, “I am tough.”

Jordan proves his worth by German-suplexing Roman Reigns by behind. Angle backs off Jordan. Reigns is totally pissed and tells Joe to wait until later tonight because he has to fight Jason Jordan right now. “Get a referee down to the ring!”

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jason Jordan

Roman Reigns is absolutely wrecking Jason Jordan at the start of this match. He is beating him from pillar to post, in and out of the ring. Jordan looks dazed as “The Big Dog” Reigns drives him into the barricade and the steel steps.

Jordan somehow enters the ring first, but Reigns is still on the hunt. Reigns sends him back out of the ring and then hits him with a huge drive-by kick. “The Big Dog” tries to slow down the pace with a chin-lock.

Reigns talks too much trash, which allows Jason Jordan to mount a comeback. Jordan rams Reigns into the corner. Reigns tries to reverse the momentum with a spear, but Jordan dodges and sends him out of the ring. Jordan is in control as we go to the break.

Jason Jordan is wrenching Roman Reigns’ arm in a submission hold. Reigns fights out and levels Jordan. “The Big Dog” is back in control. Reigns drops Jordan with a big boot and goes for the pin.

Jordan ducks a Superman Punch and mounts a comeback. Reigns fights out and drops Jordan. Meanwhile, the referee is still making counting in the ring. Reigns attempts another Superman Punch, but gets caught and driven into the ring post. Jordan and Reigns trade moves, but Jordan stands tall as we go to the commercial break.

We’re back from the break and the brawl is still going strong. During the break, Jordan dumped Reigns over the top rope with a suplex. Reigns and Jordan trade some big-time moves. Jordan executes a flawless Northern Light Suplex into a pin. 1…2…Reigns kicks out!

Post-Match: Samoa Joe comes out and tells Reigns that he looks tired. So Joe is going to come down to the ring and put Reigns to sleep. Joe enters the ring and almost fulfills his promise, locking Reigns into the Coquina Clutch. But Jordan breaks up the hold and supelexes Joe from behind. Reigns returns this favor by attacking Jordan.

Jason Jordan talks to his dad Kurt Angle in his office with desperation in his voice. Samoa Joe charges Jordan from behind, knocking him to the ground. Joe got some revenge.

Sasha Banks vs. Paige

Sasha and Paige engage in a fierce back-and-forth match. Paige almost knocked Sasha’s light out with a flip powerbomb from the top rope.

As hell breaks loose outside the ring between Absolution and Sasha’s allies, Paige capitalizes on an excellent opportunity to hit Ram-Paige and end the match.

Inside Raw GM Kurt Angle’s Office

Elias disrespect Kurt Angle, tells him to silence his phone, calls his son a bastard, and wants to play some live music. Angle tells Elias that he has a worthy opponent for him next…I’m betting it’s going to be “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman.

Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander

This match was absolutely awesome. Everyone looked phenomenal, especially Cedric Alexander. But Drew Gulak snuck up from behind and stole the victory. He’ll now go onto face Rich Swann for an opporunity to challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship.

Elias Is Out To Play His Music

Elias sits beneath a spotlight. He strums his guitar and talks trash to the crowd. He says they’re a bunch of hypocrites who worship celebrities. But Elias is better than a celebrity because he’s talent. They should worship him and walk with Elias.

Braun Strowman’s music hits. I called it! I literally did, check up the page. He comes down to the ring and beats the crap out of Elias. “The Drifter” didn’t have a chance against “The Monster Among Men.”

Asuka vs. Alicia Fox

Fox goes on the attack immediately. She surprises Asuka with heavy offense, stiff strikes and take downs. But “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka is able to mount a comeback very quickly. She knocks down Alicia several times.

But Fox isn’t finished. Alicia nearly knocks Asuka’s head off with a big boot. Fox is back in control and is wrenching Asuka with a submission hold. Asuka works her way out of the hold, and Alicia is starting to get cocky. But pride comes before the fall as Asuka traps Alicia in a submission hold in the center of the ring, and foxxy one has no choice but to tap out.

Post-Match: Paige and the Absolution surround the ring. Asuka sees that she’s outnumbered, exits and smiles. Paige addresses Alicia Fox in the ring. She tells Fox that she loves her, but Mandy and Sonya don’t feel the same way. Sonya and Mandy both jump up on the apron at the same time and enter the ring. They descend upon Alicia Fox, beating her down into the canvas.

“This is Absolution!”, yells Paige.

Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas

Finn Balor fights strong in the early moments of the match. But Bo Dallas mounts a surprising comeback and dominates Balor for a few minutes. Balor fights back hard, but clearly looks hurt. Dallas tries to stop Balor’s comeback, but gets squashed with a Coup de Grace.

Dueling Promos Between Bray Wyatt and “Woken” Matt Hardy

It appears as if Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy are locked in a sinister, but hilarious feud. Matt Hardy is now “woken” and has sentence Bray to “deletion.”

Wyatt will also look to delete the now “woken” Matt Hardy and silence this madman for good. But the seven deities aren’t on Wyatt’s side.
