2012-2016
After college, Jeffery had been drafted by the Chicago Bears for the 2012 season, where he had been the first player in that year’s draft class to sign. Originally signed to a four-year contract, in 2016, Jeffery was given a franchise tag, binding him to the Bears for an extra year in 2016.
2017-Present
In March 2017, Jeffery signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles, with a one year, $14 million contract. Playing 11 games this season, Jeffery garnered 43 catches for 619 yards and seven touchdowns. Before the year was up, however, Jefferey was granted a four-year extension. Happy over the new arrangement, Jeffery said in a statement, according to ESPN:
