Over the past 85 years thousands of people descend upon Rockefeller Center to see one of New York City’s greatest Christmas traditions, the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree! Featuring performances from some of the biggest artists around, the tree lighting ceremony will be taking place in New York City’s Rockefeller Center on November 29th, 2017 at 7:00 PM! Luckily for those who can’t make it to the Big Apple to witness the event, the tree lighting will be aired live on NBC!
The 75 foot tree, which originated in State College, PA (Go PSU!), will be ready to be lit in one of the Christmas capitals of the world! Artists like Brett Eldredge, Jennifer Nettles, Leslie Odom Jr., Pentatonix, Gwen Stefani and The Tenors will all be on hand at 30 Rockefeller Plaza to help ring in the Christmas season! NBC will be showing the lighting in its entirety on the 29th!
