UFC Fight Night 122 is right around the corner! The UFC travels to Shanghai, China Novemeber 25th where we will have a night full of up and coming stars and some house hold names squaring off inside the octagon! Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Former World Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping, who fought just 2 weeks prior in UFC 217. Which saw him lose his belt in an instant classic with George St. Pierre. Bisping was not originally slotted to fight in this Main Event. He is filling in for Anderson Silva who failed a drug test early last week. So what does that mean? Bisping will be taking on Kelvin Gastelum in the Main Event.
Fighting fans couldn’t be more excited to see Bisping replace Silva, Bisping is the UFC all time leader in Wins and Total Fights and is looking to squeeze in a few more fights before retirement. Stuck with a sour taste in his mouth, we should be in for quite the treat as Gastelum will give the former champ everything he can handle. Gastelum comes in sporting a 13-3 record and is also coming off a submission loss but at the hands of Chris Weidman. Gastelum is known for his tenacity in the ring and plans to put on a show against one of the sports all time greats.
Micheal Bisping should be the clear favorite and should take care of Gastelum fairly easily. I say should because as we all know, nothing is guaranteed inside the Octagon.
The Co Main Event between Li “The Leech” Jingliang vs Zak “The Barbarian” Ottow and it is going to be the most under rated fight of the entire card. Both of these fighters are entering the primes of their careers and have both claimed 13+ wins with only 4 losses. The Main Card will round off with Guan vs Caceres and Salikhov vs Garcia.
