I know ‘savage’ has been a trendy slang word for a couple of years now, but this may very well take the cake for the most savage thing I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Meet Maggie Archer, who at first glance, seems like your standard 20-year-old from St. Louis. Well, you know that saying about ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’? I don’t, but I feel like it would apply here.
Archer has essentially weaponized Tinder by tricking thirsty dudes into sending her money. Her profile simply reads, “Send me $5, see what happens.”
And, well, unsurprisingly, a bunch of dudes have:
Archer tells Buzzfeed News that because she’s not actually promising anything, it’s a foolproof plan:
“It’s really a foolproof plan, because I’m not actually promising anything, I just say ‘see what happens.”
“Some men get creepy and assume if they offer a lot more, like hundreds, something will actually happen, which of course it doesn’t,” she said.
While she has gotten mostly positive reactions from women, she says that she has received some negative responses from ‘mostly men,’ to whom I say this: grow the f*ck up. If a chick wants to take advantage of all the straight MORONS out there who think with their cylindrical brains, not only is that her right, but I respect the hell out of it. Hustle never sleeps, especially when all you have to do is put a mysterious caption in your Tinder bio and let the idiots come flocking.
Also, Maggie, ‘sup? I’m not stupid enough to send you money, but I’d definitely take you out, so if you read this, peep my bio and hit me up.
