Kyle Godfrey-Ryan worked as an assistant for Charlie Rose in the mid-2000s. She’s now one of 8 women accusing the talk show host of sexual misconduct. According to Godfrey-Ryan’s LinkedIn page, she worked as an assistant for Rose, from May 2003 to August 2004. She reportedly came forth with allegations against Rose following her encounters with him and was fired soon after.
Godfrey-Ryan is only one of two women who are allowing their names to appear in print, regarding the allegations against Rose. She says that the details of her alleged encounters feel branded into her. She said, “It feels branded into me, the details of it.”
She now works as the founder of Tune.Studio, which provides “15-minute group sessions that realign the body to its optimal state.”

Kyle Godfrey-Ryan alleges that Charlie Rose routinely walked naked in front of her while she worked for him in one of his New York homes. She also claims that he repeatedly called her up at night and during the early hours of the morning, informing her of sexual fantasies he has of Godfrey-Ryan swimming nude in his Belport pool as he watches from his bedroom window.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Godfrey-Ryan came forward with allegations against Rose to the long-time producer of his show Charlie Rose. She said that producer Yvette Vega “made me feel like I was being a dramatic little girl.”
Godfrey-Ryan said she was fired by Rose after she came forward with sexual misconduct allegations to his producer. Vega has since regretted not doing anything to assist the women coming forward to her with allegations against Rose. Vega said, “I should have stood up for them. I failed. It is crushing. I deeply regret not helping them.”
Rose has apologized for his behavior in a statement released on Monday, November 20, shortly after the allegations were made public.
“In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked,” Rose said in a statement provided to The Post. “Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues.
“It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken.
“I have learned a great deal as a result of these events, and I hope others will too. All of us, including me, are coming to a newer and deeper recognition of the pain caused by conduct in the past, and have come to a profound new respect for women and their lives.”
