Decker is married to country singer, Jessie James Decker. The two have a daughter, Vivianne Rose Decker born in 2014, and a son, Eric Thomas Decker II, born in 2015. The family is also expecting another son in the upcoming months.

Decker started as a high school football player and quickly climbed the ladder to NFL status. With an annual salary of $5 million, he has made his name known in the football world.

Decker has continued to prove himself as a wide receiver ever since being drafted by the Denver Broncos. He spent four years with the Broncos before signing a 5-year deal with the New York Jets in 2014. The Titans signed Decker in 2017, after missing a full season due to a hip injury.

Decker was born on March 15, 1987, in Minnesota. He played football, baseball and basketball in his high school days at Rocori High School in Cold Spring, Minnesota.

Decker received all-conference, all-section and all-area awards during his time as a high school athlete. He was named team MVP for two consecutive years at his high school before enrolling at the University of Minnesota.

In 2010, Decker was drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft and signed a 4-year contract with the Denver Broncos, where he quickly became a star wide receiver.


2011-2017

In the 2012 season, Decker received the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for his performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 2013,  Decker and the Broncos won the AFC Championship game.

In March 2014, Decker signed a $36.25 million deal with the New York Jets. Decker went on to spend five years in New York where he was a leading receiver. His time in New York was cut short due to a hip injury in 2016.

After missing an entire season with the Jets, Decker signed with the Tennessee Titans in June 2017.
