Mike & Mike is coming to an end on November 17, with co-host and partial namesake Mike Greenberg leaving the show, whose role will be taken on by Trey Wingo. The second-half, Mike Golic will still appear on the show and he’s someone who really knows his way around the game.

The Early Years
A native of Willowick, Ohio, Golic started a career in the sports industry on the opposite side of the mic, having been a former defensive lineman for Notre Dame, where he attended as a finance and management major, and in the NFL, having been in the latter for around eight years.
1995-2006
Golic eventually joined ESPN is 1995 as a reporter for Sunday NFL Countdown. Eventually, by 1998, he would transition into the role he is most known for, one half of the Mike & Mike ESPN radio show, which started simulcasting on ESPN2 TV in 2006. During this time, Golic also appeared as the host of the blooper series, The Lighter Side of Sports.
2007-Present
Appearing on Guiding Light in 2008, Golic also toyed with becoming an author, co-writing Mike and Mike’s Rules for Sports and Life with his co-host, Mike Greenberg. As mentioned, Golic will continue on the show after Greenberg’s departure, with a new host, Trey Wingo.
