News & Politics

-26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley opened fired at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, killing at least 26, making it the deadliest mass shooting in Texas history.

-2 of the 5 deadliest shootings in United States history of happened in the last 35 days.

-Following multiple accounts of sexual harassment and assault, Netflix fired Kevin Spacey from House Of Cards, as well as canceling his upcoming film Gore.

-President Trump is overseas in Japan.

Sports

-The Eagles cruised to 8-1, the Cowboys earned an impressive victory over the Chiefs, and the Redskins (+330!) won AT Seattle.

-There were a BUNCH of fights in the NFL this weekend, including AJ Green vs. Jalen Ramsey and Mike Evans vs Marshon Lattimore.

-UFC 217 was the event of the year with upsets and knockouts galore. (Rose Namajunas, GSP, and TJ Dillashaw were all victorious).

-It appears as though no one is going to be able to stop Manchester City, who thrashed Arsenal 3-1.
