Both teams have overachieved so far this season. The Bills, who were expected to be a .500 team, are currently tied for the AFC East lead with the New England Patriots. Meanwhile, the Jets, who were thought by some to be the worst team in the league. Despite this, both teams enter Week 9 ahead of where most experts thought they’d be.
A win tonight would be the Buffalo Bills in first place in the AFC East. As for the Jets, a loss tonight would all but eliminate them from the wildcard race.
