Ann-Laure Decadt, 31, is one of eight victims who were killed during Tuesday’s terror attack in New York City. Decadt was a citizen of Belgium and a mother of two children. Her husband, Alexander Naessens, described Decadt as “a wonderful wife and the most beautiful mom of our 3-month and 3-year-old sons.”
Sayfullo Saipov, 29, has been identified as the terror suspect who drove a rented truck through a Manhattan bike lane for more than a dozen blocks. Saipov has been arrested and charged in the attack that left eight people dead and 11 other injured.
Belgium’s deputy prime minister, Didier Reynders, confirmed that three other Belgium citizens were injured in Tuesday’s terror attack.

Ann-Laure is a 31-year-old Belgium citizen who was with her family when she was hit by a truck and killed on Tuesday. She was a wife and mother of two children.
Her husband Alexander Naessens told the NY Post that, “This loss is unbearable and cannot be overcome. She was a wonderful wife and the most beautiful mom of our 3-month and 3-year-old sons.”
Naessens and Decadt have been married since 2012.
Decadt was a resident of Roeselare, a city in the Flemish province of West Flanders. She is reportedly visiting New York City with her mother and sister.
She reportedly loved to travel the world and to adventure. Her Facebook page displays photos of Decadt bungee-jumping in South Africa and long-distance biking in Benin.
