I’ll admit I’ve never heard of Amy Jackson before writing this article, but now that I have, nothing will ever be the same. A mix of 1920’s beauty with modern edgy sexiness, Bollywood actress Amy Jackson is both exotic-looking and the-girl-next-door at the same time.
Ever since I started working at COED, I’ve LONG said that Emily Ratajkowski is the hottest chick on the planet, and I’ve always stood by that stance, but the 25-year-old Jackson is forcing me to reconsider.
Born in 1992, Jackson is a Manx-born, Liverpool-raised actress, who so far has mainly appeared in Bollywood movies. Jackson attended St. Edward’s College, where she studied English Literature, Philosophy, and Ethics.
Jackson began her modeling at 16 and went on to win the 2009 Miss Teen World competition. Following her Miss Teen World win, Tamil film director A L Vijay cast her as the leading lady of the 2010 Tamil period-drama Madrasapattinam (2010). Jackson then continued to act in Indian movies of all languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Jackson recently landed her first Hollywood role as Saturn Girl in The CW’s Supergirl (2017), meaning we will all hopefully be getting a lot more of Amy Jackson in our lives.
