Halloween is coming up, and while you can have fun dressing up, even making a costume, and going trick-or-treating, there’s still a little fun for older people to enjoy. There are even a few, specific wines to help you to get into the late October season. The Washington Post has offered a list of four wines to help you celebrate Halloween this year, and they are made for every ghost, ghoul or goblin out there. In other words, they all have spooky names. That foresight alone deserves attention. The best part is, you won’t have to share with Dracula!

Bodegas Tobia “Daimon” 2015

A mix between Grenache and Tempranillo, this wine’s “demonic” name sure tastes like forbidden fruit. Get it? Demons…forbidden fruit? It tastes like dark fruit.
Sinister Hand 2015/2016

I’m not sure if we are dealing with a monkey’s paw or anything, but a mix between grenache, syrah, mourvedre and cinsault, throwing in some Bing cherries, black olives and tea, this wine is a wish come true.
Banshee Pinot Noir 2015

Alcohol by Volume: 13.6%
Seeing a banshee is nothing to be scared of. After all, it is the one who can’t see the banshee who is the next to die, if the old Irish stories are to be believed. Regardless, its dark cherry fruit flavor is certainly to die for.
Werewolf Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Said to be a bright, juicy Cabernet, this wine will make you howl at the moon. Best paired with rare steak…more so for the ambiance than anything!
