Tyrese being butthurt about The Rock being more famous than him is like him being mad at the sun for being hotter than him: no shit dude — is this really a battle you want to pick?
Tyrese Gibson has been taking shots at the Rock on Instagram for delaying his only source of income the NINTH Fast & Furious movie until 2020. He simply just can’t relate to being a successful actor and having a busy schedule and is responding by lashing out at the Rock. Cotton, that’s what we call a bold strategy.
I’m not a numbers guy, but here are some #analytics for you:
–The first four Fast & Furious movies, the ones without the Rock, earned a combined $761,000,000 worldwide. Certainly, nothing to sneeze at.
–But the last four Fast & Furious movies, the ones with the Rock, have made approximately $4 BILLION WORLDWIDE — more than four times the Rock-less movies.
So, were of the opinion that Tyrese should be do everything he can to keep the Rock — AKA Tyrese’s daddy — happy. Not taking lame shots on Instagram like this:

Just a truly weak displayed from a washed-up C-list actor clinging to his last remaining claim to fame. At this rate, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was written out of the franchise — the Rock is the alpha and the omega, and Tyrese is … actually, who the f*ck is Tyrese?
If anything, the delay to Fast 2167 is keeping him in the public eye for longer than he deserves.
