Jordan Mclldoon is one of two Canadian citizens to have died in the deadliest shooting in United States history. on Sunday night, which left 59 people dead and over 500 others hospitalized and injured. Mclldoon is a 23-year-old man from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. A woman who was at the scene of the incident, Heather Gooze wrote on her Facebook that Jordan died in her arms.
“We only had one child,” Al and Angela McIldoon told the CBC. “We just don’t know what to do.”
Gooze wrote Sunday morning, “Friends and family, I am ok. I am right outside of the festival grounds. We are not allowed to go anywhere. I am with a young man who died in my arms! RIP Jordan mcildoon from British Columbia. I can’t believe this just happened!!!”
Mclldoon was described by his parents as “self-described cowboy boot, tattoo-covered redneck who loved the outdoors.”
The country music fan a heavy-duty mechanic apprentice, who worked at Jacob Bros Construction in Surrey. According to a relative, Mclldoon was only a month away from completing a course to qualify as a heavy-duty mechanic.
He would have celebrated his 24th birthday this upcoming Friday.

He was just one of 59 victims to be shot down in Las Vegas on Sunday. Roughly 22 thousand fans were attendance at the festival when the shooting began.
